Sold to Rupert from Tauton UK. From Nice Airport to UK in one go, 1800 km !
No problem except the wiper motor that stopped. Maybe it was not trained enough in the south ...

April & July 2004: Front brakes

Cleaned drums, brake shoes, adjusting stars, bearings.
Changed brake cylinders, flexibles + bleeding.







22 Feb 2004: Just bought it !!

Yes !!! My first split bus.

This one is just too clean !

Bought it in Villefranche sur Mer (06). This bus did travel a lot last summer for the meetings. Cf. side pics.





It was completely restored around 2002-2003, brand new paint, carpets, seals, rebuilt 1500 engine & trans (strong enough for a daily and a holiday bus).

Weak point: brakes pull a lot to the right. Let's fix that !

Model:

Type 233 number 1256575, made on 28 Feb 1964 and sold in France. First plates on 31 Jul 1964.
Options: rare sliding door (yes it is still a split bus), 1500cc.
Colours: started as a dove blue, is now Coral (L351)/White (L90D).
